The City of Liberty and the Parks and Recreation Department hired Landworks Studio to help guide the City through a Comprehensive Parks and Recreation Master Plan process. This plan will act as a roadmap for the City to make improvements to the park system for the next 10 years.
To make this plan a success, we need input from you! There are many different ways to get involved with this project, which you can find on this website. It will also be updated throughout the project with information from public meetings, engagement activities, and the final Master Plan document.

Our team is made up of landscape architects, urban planners, architects and recreation specialists.
The firms collaborating on this project are: Landworks Studio, SFS Architecture, Ballard*King, and ETC Institute.
The first phase focuses on gathering information, conducting an inventory, and getting to know the community through Pop-Up events.
The second phase entails conducting stakeholder listening sessions, an equity analysis, exploring connectivity, creating level of service standards, and hosting an open house.
The third phase is when the heart of the document is created. The design team will hold a strategic planning retreat with City Staff to finalize goals and objectives, as well as create draft priorities and recommendations. These will be presented to the public at a final open house with park concepts.
Approve & implement
The final phase is when the final recommendations and document will be created. This will also include approval presentations.
